Why Tings Exist

Tings lets you trade perpetual futures on assets that never had markets before. Unemployment rates, weather trends, bitcoin hash rate and patterns hidden in real-world data. Signals people talk about every day but could never act on. If something has a measurable value and people care about it, it should be traded.

We built Tings because real-world data moves the world, yet financial markets only trade a tiny fraction of it. Modern traders see opportunities everywhere - macro prints, climate anomalies, network activity, but traditional infrastructure doesn’t allow markets to form quickly, safely, and permissionlessly.

HIP-3 changes that. It gives us a foundation to create these markets natively on-chain, with the same speed, security, and performance Hyperliquid is known for. All trading happens on Hyperliquid Core where liquidity, tooling, and traders already live.
