Getting Started

The testnet uses a dedicated quote token issued by Tings - TGUSD. This allows distribution of sufficient amounts to support testing and market making.

Getting testnet collateral tokens: Users with at least 10k USD in lifetime trading volume on Hyperliquid can claim tokens directly with their account.

Users below this volume threshold can claim tokens for a nominal fee of $1 to prevent abuse.

Users can reclaim tokens if their balance falls below 50% of their initial claim amount, with a maximum of one reclaim per hour. The first three re-claims are at no additional cost; subsequent re-claims require the $1 fee to prevent abuse.
